The Orbital Survey of Duna’s Regions has completed. Unlike Kerbin, the North and South Poles are separate regions. They also have Polar Desert regions at their margins. The rest is a patchwork of Lowlands, Midlands, and Highlands.

The Orbital Survey mod satellite has completed its mapping of Minmus’ regions. They are very similar to those in KSP1 except for the identifications. And even though it’s agreed that Minmus could not be an icy body, the regions are still called Arctic Ice, Sheet Ice, and Snowdrifts.

During the Mun mission, the Orbital Survey satellite in Kerbin orbit completed its scan. Unlike the ScanSat mod in KSP1, this doesn’t seem to have a high-res image available so I have to settle for a screen shot.

I really want to have common names for geographical features. It's difficult saying "the peninsula east of the space center that looks kind of like Korea" or "the small desert at the south of the big continent on the planet opposite of the Space Center" I'm probably going to go ahead with naming places in my blog and then having a map such as this with labels. If you, the reader, want to know where I'm talking about you will; have to reference the map.
